Amber beads for jewelry purposes usually take two shapes: either rounded bead or olive. Balls used to create BRACELETS are usually formed out of one stone. As far as PRAYING BEADS are concerned, especially islamic prayer beads, they are often made of olive shape beads or round ball shape beads just smaller than those used in BRACELETS.

Since the Baltic Amber has been traded for centuries its colors gained many descriptive names. Let us mention several of them:

As the price depends on the color, it's worth mentioning that the most expensive products are those made with white beads, and the cheapest ones are cognac, cherry and lemon.
